I've wondered about this in the past, but kept forgetting to post something about it. I was reminded again today when I looked at the top global scores and noticed that RookyJ and "Ph11 Hug" both have the same time of 15.654, but RookyJ is ranked 1 and "Ph11 Hug" is ranked 2.
How does RedLynx order players that are tied?
1. Does the system internally keep an even more accurate time? (and it's just rounded when displayed on the leader-boards)?
2. Is it just whoever posted that particular time first/last?
3. Randomly selected?
4. Some internal player ID as a second sort field?
5. Something else?
I believe it's alphabetical... Could be wrong tho.
Nytmair, I want to live in your world where R comes before P....
I have no idea, but thought that Nytmair's idea was a little off base.
I think it's who's first to get that time.
Nytmair - you and I should both chip in for Hooked on Phonics due to our recent illiteracy issues on these forums.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

Ah, forgot about that prefix. I always just convert it to their "real" name in my head. I'll buy Hooked on Phonics by myself. Thanks for nothing!Originally Posted by Nytmair
Touché good sir. Touché. Technically, [ isn't a letter though. So I still win.
@OP - You lose 5 points for assisting in me looking (more) stupid.![]()
Ugh... I was just going to propose an experiment, but looks like "Ph11 Hug" broke the tie and pulled ahead of RookyJ.
I was going to see if RookyJ was willing to change his name to "Z RookyJ" for a minute to see if he dropped below "Ph11 Hug".
Oh well, I'll wait to do this experiment myself the next time I'm tied with someone.
