right i dont know how to explain this but my controller is acting up now and then the analoug seems to but my rider in to a permenant back posision. the only thing i can do is flick the stick forward but then 10 mins later it happens again. i only use the d-pad now, and some times the stick for parts of cirtain maps.
is there any way to fix this for good its rather anoying when your on a good run then you just start to do a back flip.
dose this happen to any one else?
Yea my current controller does this once in a while. It sticks to the left so my rider leans back. Its not that bad and i usually have quick reactions to fix it when it happens right away, but i feel your pain.
The only way to fix it would be to take apart your controller and probably mess around with the padding around the joystick and the little rubberbands or whatever makes it flick back to the center everytime.
Im just going to trade in my controller and get a new one like a week before Evo releases, this way i can start off with a new controller on the new game![]()
Spray WD40 ( lubricant spray) down your stick.. not a lot though and it will feel brand new
How the hell would u have found that outOriginally Posted by raistlin2076![]()
i've had a similar problem in the past, when i start playing trials h.d, my rider just keeps reversing! abit like the left trigger is stuck on or something.
so, i changed the controller to an old one, then re-connected the normal one and everything is ok.
it does this every couple of months or so, but only with thd, all other games seem fine.
strange.![]()
I wouldn't recommend messing with the internal components of the controller. You can easily make a slight problem much worse.Originally Posted by xPrOFeSsi0NaL
What you CAN do is clean the inside of your controller. Just like every other non-sealed environment your controller can and will collect dust. Even one drop of liquid or just ambient humidity can leave that dust in a gummy state that can have some affect on how the controller reacts.
I suggest you leave it alone if possible. If you can't then just disassemble the controller and clean it.
my current controller does this forward, backwards and up...... makes tracks like flight school a real *****.... glad i already have good runs on rings of fire 1 & 2..... controlling afterburners in this fashion is quite the accomplishment.
