Fixed.
Hey Guys,
Ok, how the hell do you do this? I have tried so many times to keep the bike on the rear wheel, but I always end up flipping over.........some advice would be appreciated, thanks!![]()
Only put in what is after the equal sign.
Ye back wheelYou won't get any easy pointers. One way to provoke the bike to go on its rear wheel is to lean forward and then straight back. Staying on the rear wheel is... hard.
Welcome to the forums !!
I guess practice is key. Try to find the balance point, get a feel for where it is, then you can get a better idea if you need to brake so he doesnt fall on his ***! Or accelarate. But mainly practice, practice, practice!
Also, use the right trigger to accelerate instead of the A button, if you aren't already.![]()
This was one of the toughest things I had to learn when playing the game. I would say this skill came to me after I was able to platinum some of the extreme tracks.
Personally, I feel that the start of the second wheelie game is much easier than the start of the first, but if you can get past the first bit of the first one, there are some nice sections to learn on. Also, you can quickly make a simple ramp or two to practice on in the editor. Gradual inclines are easier to learn on than on flat ground, because they allow you to be a little more liberal with the gas.
I really don't have much advice other than practice. It's all about getting to the point where you know what the bike is going to do when you hit the gas, and lean on the stick. One day this just clicked for me, and now I feel that the wheelie games are among the most fun and rewarding.
Good luck!
really? i always use the A button figuring i can feather it better.Originally Posted by Oski

You're actually pretty good at staying on your back wheel. But sometimes you are accelerating with the front wheel down. Brake before accelerating to bring it quickly off the ground.
The A button can only put the bike in full throttle. The right trigger allows you to fine tune the amount of throttle.Originally Posted by BlueMageFTW
