What if you made a huge jump off the highest peak and put a few corners in before landing.. would the bike start turning in mid air by itself ? Funny but totally stupid

I think it looked really cool...
Like the rider meant to put spin on his jump or something, to nail an awesomely impossible move..

I'm sure it would. The bike is locked to the driving line, and if the line curves, then so will the bike.

Yes, as I said the physics in Trials HD are very exaggerated, but let's look at the distinctions:

People can do 30-foot drops in real life - you can do 200 foot drops in Trials.

People can do backflips in real life - you can do quadruple backflips in Trials.

    Etc., etc.

People cannot turn in mid air AT ALL in real life. You can exaggerate zero exponentially and it will still be zero. Get my point?

The Trials universe is one where everything is blown out of proportion - gravity is super low, the human body is super resilient, etc. but it doesn't add anything new to the laws of physics in real life - it only exaggerates them. I believe it should stay this way.

Hmm... actually there is one "impossible" thing you can do in Trials HD - you can rotate one direction in mid air and then ( if the jump is big enough ) rotate the other direction. I always made it a point to never do this as I think it makes replays look stupid.

Its going to feel weird but I'm sure we'll get used to it in no time. If thats the only gripe with the game then it will be great.

    http://www.pinkbike.com/video/46771/ This is like 55ft I think and that's a mountain bike.

I got one on skis? Probably doesn't count though as he has like 20ft of powder to land on.

Yes, the Jah drop is 55 feet, however Josh Bender never landed it after his 4 attempts. The highest LANDED drop on a DH bike is 46 feet. I said 30 because I was trying to estimate what the highest possible drop would be on a Trials motercycle in real life. It was a total guess... I have no idea.

And yes, I know people can do MASSIVE drops and jumps on MX bikes.

You're basically making the same point that Heetsauce made, only adding the criteria of a flat landing... I'll make the same counter-argument once again...

People can do 10+ foot drops to flat in real life. 200 feet is a massive exaggeration, yes. But once again, people cannot turn in mid air in real life AT ALL. Shifty - you've always struck me as being very logical - are you really not able to see the point I'm trying to make?

Once again, I know this won't affect gameplay, and I'll still play the sh*t out of Evo whether or not this type of thing is included in the in-game tracks, but honestly it just bugs the crap out of me. Same goes for sharp turns on the ground without the rider leaning into them. It just looks ridiculous.

Random side-note: Here's me doing about 9 feet to flat on my DH bike.
