yeah thought it might be a bit of a stretch (DLC maybeOriginally Posted by ShiftySamurai)
anyway im sure that when the likes of xironwarlordx and the other great craftsmen here (too many to mention)get their hands on the editor they will come up with some awesome and inventive stuff that will amaze us all![]()
bring it on!![]()
I think it might be a possibility... If the trigger system is as great as we heard it wouldn't be hard to make roads split, or maybe not splitting per say but I would find it strange if we couldn't do a higher and lower road for example, both veering in opposite direction and ultimately re-join (or not) Imagine creating another hidden line that takes you somewhere totally unexpected, imagine the easter eggs. I want to believe it's a possibility, if not let's note it and add to most wanted features for the next gameOriginally Posted by ShiftySamurai
One pretty thing I have seen is that we seem to have the ability to place triggers that activate any custom text you want to be displayed to the player in a window in-game, neat feature, I can't wait to see every small detail like this in the editor![]()
Thats a cool idea! DO IT! haha Hey shifty you hear that? Your track laps might be possible in EvoOriginally Posted by MegaTrain![]()
Wow...That will be pretty awsome! I can guarantee the first 10 hours I spend in the map editor will be me making cars, trains, helicopters, drawbridges, rotating platforms, robots, rockets, elevators, cable cars, hoverboards, skatebords, see saws, gears, moving loop the loops, rotating loop the loops, trampolines, about 50 devices designed to kill unfortunate bike riders and a happy face.
I worked so hard on that track in HD, never did come out well. Being able to have the environment fall apart while you drive in a big circle, and driving over the new line created by that destruction was something I tried very hard to do in HD, it sounds much easier to implement in Evolution, though setting up the track so it works nearly the same every time will surely be a time consuming process.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
I'm so curious about the editor. Looks so complex but I'm sure we will all figure it out eventually!
My biggest wonder is how is water going to work? I thought of it as u like having a little ball and dropping it and it would fill up the area it lands in by u selecting the amount of water you want.
I wonder...
That would be amazing because you could set trap doors filled with water or drains to open and close up. Changing the water level in the map.Originally Posted by xPrOFeSsi0NaL![]()
Well they did say that you can raise and lower water anyway. I would assume with triggers and such.
Guess we won't find out until release!!!
