I would love something like the Trials 2 SE True Fan included in Evolution.

Everyone else would feel like dirt.

They did it with Trials 2 SE. I don't see people crying over not having it there. I don't have it.

Any game with leaderboards is more or less an ego package. Rewarding gamers for better performance is a basic fundamental element of videogames.

My thoughts exactly. Paying for a game and then paying extra for stuff outside it that isn't dlc has always seemed like a con to me.
Extra track storage is the only thing I would consider, but only if it was a one off payment.

I'd happily be charged extra for being one of the people who *****ed and whined about redlynx not updating the release date on their website.. it shows I'm a customer focused person

in all seriousness though, hell yeah, I'd happily pay for a bonus pack of somesort. THD is the only game I'm still playing over two years after its release on a regular basis. hell, it's the only game I'm playing at the moment! and for that I'd be happy to cough up for some useless additional content which would serve only to say 'thanks for the awesomeness Redlynx' and nothing more

Yeah but all the suggestions are basically... let's screw the masses... ha ha ha look us exclusive "elite" buyers now have gold font and 10 more objects in our tracks.

The key thing here is that you said "rewarded", ie did some hard work and got something for the effort.
Premium/elite crap is not a reward, it's a paid perk designed to rinse a little more cash from you and make you feel like your e-***** is bigger than others.

Ditto. Simple features like statistics and advanced editor/replay features should be part of the game to begin with, not something that gets cut out of the game and then offered as part of a "premium" package. That's not cool. If I'm going to be paying extra money for something, it better be something that required actual effort to create like a new map pack, not something held back during development.

What you're essentially asking for by supporting this idea is that they scale down the game's features and potential so that you need to pay even more money to get what you should have owned in the first place. In other words, hell no.
