So leading on from a previous thread I wanted to see how many users would be more than willing to pay for an elite/Premium package on Trials evoulution ?
I'd be more than willing to pay for-
*A Statistics/Data webiste online to view progression while playing on xbox on laptop-
*Extra slots to upload/Download tracks
*More space to create better tracks as a premium user
*More advance Replay package
*Extra custom stuff for rider/bike
These are just my ideas, But i think with such a large fanbase maybe Redlynx should consider rather than releasing DLC ( as we now have track central ) bring some sort of Trials Evolution Elite guys.... Discount merchendise... you name it I think us guys especially on here would love to become part of Trials evolution elite.
Maybe have a different color (Colour) Name in the global leaderboards ? Cream rather than white... Gold rather than yellow something minor but noticable
If you are going to make it, why not just make it free?![]()
This isn't call of duty crispy... Lol...
I am a fan of this idea. Being able to see your stats, or that of a rival, would be a great tool to help foster an even more competitive spirit among any skill level of players.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
Track Central, I don't believe, limits how many tracks a user can submit.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
I don't think that Redlynx places limits on track complexity or size for any reason other than the user being able to actually load it. I wouldn't want people who DIDN'T pay to be "Elite" to be punished by having an arbitrary limit imposed on them in the form of less track complexity or item usage.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
Once again, I think that if someone purchases the game, then all the features of the game should be available to them. That includes replay options.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
I think that an extra helmet or bike frame color might be something that not TOO many people would complain about, and it would also allow people to show that they like the game enough.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
I'm not the biggest fan of the "Elite" programs that are in some games now. The Halo Waypoint thing really turned me off on the whole idea, and COD: Elite didn't make me like them any more.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
The only people who should have different colored names are Redlynx employees. But I also think there should be a viral achievement for beating one of them in a Multiplayer race, or someone who has beaten them.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
I would love something like the Trials 2 SE True Fan included in Evolution, maybe a different colored in-game shirt (based on an already existing model?) that could be awarded to people who truly are fans.
From Trials HD, that would be people like Jarr3tt88, lespridelescal, GameScrub, Iron Warlord, Malachyte, that crazy db VOLTRON db crew, FatShady, Euphoric Fusion.... Nearly an endless list. There are no Trials Evolution True Fans (the game isn't out yet..) right now, but I think something like this could be an added bonus for the few it is awarded to.
Same basic idea for Track of The Week winners. Just an in-game shirt. There can only be 52 ToTW winners in a year, so winning one might be it's own reward. A nice In-Game item for the accomplishment would be an awesome bonus.
I think that some of your ideas are great for DLC, but not as part of an ELITE program. Added customization options, maybe different colors... I don't know why everyone shouldn't be allowed to pick those up without enrolling for features that they might now want or need.
I'm not trying to poop on anyone's ideas, and I would love to read more ideas from everyone else.
i would, if redlynx had not been bought by the moneydudes. now i see no reason for extra support.
+5 speed boost for everybody who buys Rayman and Assassins Creed new? Sound good? Yeah?
An achievment for beating Jorma on a track he created! Now THAT would be considered a classic! xD
I don't think you can really point fingers at who are bigger fan, There are probably hundreds of 'massive fans' out there that don't even belong to this forum, or make tracks. I for one onlyfound out about this months after i had played trials HD for months on end, who can rightly say who is a big fan and who is not, I don't think redlynx should give out stuff for true fans, i think it should be availble for people who BELIEVE they are true fans. From Trials HD, that would be people like Jarr3tt88, lespridelescal, GameScrub, Iron Warlord, Malachyte, that crazy db VOLTRON db crew, FatShady, Euphoric Fusion.... Nearly an endless list. There are no Trials Evolution True Fans (the game isn't out yet..) right now, but I think something like this could be an added bonus for the few it is awarded to.f you catch my drift)
I disagree. Someway of distinguishing between true players and just players I think is a good idea, the achievments would be good for beating there leaderboards times...The only people who should have different colored names are Redlynx employees. But I also think there should be a viral achievement for beating one of them in a Multiplayer race, or someone who has beaten them.
Me neither, but the statistics on Halo and Battlefield 3 has really got my willy tingling, why not give the player even more stats to analysise for free (Or a small fee) , online while playing.I'm not the biggest fan of the "Elite" programs that are in some games now. The Halo Waypoint thing really turned me off on the whole idea, and COD: Elite didn't make me like them any more.
I didn't pay for Call of Duty Elite yet I played cod4 to tenth prestige, waw to 8th, MW2 to 10th, Black ops to 15th, and mw3 ongoing ... Like I said earlier, I'd consider myself a massive fan of Call of duty but what they offer as Elite I think is a ******g joke, Its not a privilege its a profit idea, more money from there allready HUGE fan base. To me getting golden guns always proved i was a big enough fan... without paying .... This is why I think Redlynx Could really build a great premium service for people that would love it not just join because its there.... Not for the money but for the content...This isn't call of duty crispy... Lol...
I would if it included wearing exclusives like bike designs/helmets.
With the additional of stat tracking, total time played, faults, closest rival, online mp wins, blah blah.
And it would persuade RL financially to push out DLCs every month or two.![]()
Hell i would even purchase a premium package that offered nothing and it would still be a bargain with what i paid for the original game for what i get out of it.
My list was certainly not all inclusive. There are a ton of amazing community members and track designers and players that I just couldn't list them all. Those were just examples, and they wouldn't really have a bearing on a Evolution True Fan list at all. The game isn't out yet.Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
It's not about saying "Such and such is a bigger Trials fan", it about "look at what such and such did for the community for Trials Evolution". Sometimes building a website, recording 500+ videos of other people's tracks, creating a leaderboard for track videos, making a points spreadsheet, recording tutorials for editing (or those hard tracks) or other things for no reason other than because you think it will help out the community.
Being awesome at the game should certainly come with it's own in-game rewards. I'm just saying that something that follows the "True Fan" achievement in Trials 2 SE would be a great addition. In my opinion. You don't have to agree, I didn't agree with all of your ideas either.
I think that the customization unlockables will let everyone distinguish between someone who plays a ton and someone who plays a track a day. At least initially, which is why I said that DLC with more customization options sounds like a great idea (to me).Originally Posted by CrispySquirrel
Don't get me wrong man, I'm not a developer, I'm not a Redlynx employee. My ideas are just my ideas, and I don't really think that they will be the way that it is. I'm just saying what I, in my opinion, would like to see included.
PS: I do not see myself as someone who would receive "True Fan" status.
