with all the recent green text floating on the forums and the video on xbox live I'm hoping Trials preempts the house party titles... I'm not holding my breath though. I'm leaning toward summer of arcade. got a gut feeling... although i had the same gut feeling about duke nukem forever in 1996

And we got a ton of info. TrialsHD.net got a ton of questions answered. Many more things were answered here on the forums (look for WILLYUMZ thread), and the devs have recently begun posting again.

I think that we have seen how Redlynx can be with info and community interaction, but it is not the norm for this business. Many games companies can, and do, show a single trailer for a game, give a release date, and then miss it by months. It's how it is in this industry. Yet when Redlynx have this happen, they are blasted on every front about how poor they are, how bad PR is, and about how they don't listen anymore.

This isn't true. There hasn't been a month that has gone by where we didn't receive some kind of info regarding Trials Evolution. We have received posts to the forums by them that say "Can't say anything yet", and they may not have had permission to even say that before.

I'm not complaining about people who want this game, I want it too. I just feel that we have grown accustomed to a level of interaction that isn't normal in this business, and when that interaction is lessened for a while we become easily agitated.

The title won't be in House Party, which is what this thread is all about.

On topic, gutted it won't be in house party because in my opinion it has to be summer of arcade now

I'm new here, but haven't seen anyone bash RedLynx. They ARE better than 99% of game companies that keep their fans in the dark, but when they released the teaser video back around E3 last year people went crazy. They knew there would be many questions about the game, main one being: WHEN IS IT COMING OUT!??!?!

I appreciate them talking with the community, but gosh darn it we're always going to want more info lol. If you give a mouse a cookie...

Specifically though, anything related to release date information, a good 6 months ago devs were talking about more info soon, yet there is no information.

If trials evo comes out as a summer arcade title which many people speculate it will, you can bet your bottom dollar RL won't tell us for a long time.


Pretty much all games that I have ever seen have a release date window, apart from this one.

I was referring more along the lines of FaceBook and Twitter than the forums, but it's been here too. You'll get that with any company that has produced quality games.

The more specific the better. I try to view all of the threads, but things escape my sight sometimes, so just think that I'll read it eventually.

I'm not trying to stop discussion about this, just throwing in my opinion. I can certainly be wrong because my thoughts are based off of the same information that you guys are working with, which isn't a whole lot right now. I think that Redlynx is working on getting that info to us, and I am relatively certain we will be hearing some new things soon.
