Yeh I like that idea too but doubt it will be possible.

Correct me if im wrong but mp racing online would be only you on the screen against ghosts...im not too sure if you can crash into one given that the driving line could intersect with one other.
Both will be possible.Originally Posted by jhitman
You can do live "vs ghost" racing on any (built-in or custom) single-bike track.
But you can also do supercross-style 4-player side-by-side racing either local (same Xbox, different controllers) or over XBox live. These two scenarios look similar, but are functionally different. When local, the screen follows the leader of the group, and if anyone falls behind and goes off screen, they gain a fault and re-spawn at the next checkpoint. When playing supercross multiplayer over XBox live, each player's console will follow their own bike, so you won't auto-fault when you fall too far behind.
Founds some relevant dev quotes:

I think all Xbox (or at least XBLA) games use Microsoft's servers and therefore it's not our decision to give you access to the online data.
T2SE used (still uses) our own servers and that allowed us to create a website for all the statistics, rankings etc. We also have an API that allows other people to access this data and create their own tools.
I think it would be great if this could be done with Trials HD and Evo, but I wouldn't count on it.
All of this is just my personal opinion and I could be wrong. This is NOT official information.
A couple of us playing 1000 HeroZ just went ahead and built our own. I used Google Docs so that I could make it viewable as a webpage to anyone, and another player made his own from Excel that was easily downloadable. Both required a bit of work to get them made.. and we had to fill in our own data...but both accomplished the mission.
So if someone in here has excellent database/excel knowledge....I say they do the Trials world a solid and design something for everyone.
That's already been done for Trials HD manually, in Excel:Originally Posted by RookyJ

Its still manually entered, though, so requires a bit of work to keep updated. Just hoping with Trials Evolution we get another way to read the leaderboard data.
Cool...I hadn't seen that. Thx for the heads up MegaTrain.Originally Posted by MegaTrain
I did a little research, and from what I can tell, this may now be possible. XBoxLive RESTful web services was released some time last year, and offers programatic access to user/profile information, leaderboard info, matchmaking/multiplayer, and even "title managed storage".Originally Posted by AnttiKi

Looks like this was released in part so MS could create Windows Phone games that extend and interract with existing XBox Live titles. Using web services, this should be possible from either a web app or a custom mobile app. They discuss some examples like a mobile "pub gambling" game that actually award your Fable II character with additional gold, or a facebook puzzle game that grants player health in the XBox game.
I tried to check out the link (https://developer.xboxlive.com) but that appears to be a partner-only site. I presume that RedLynx is a partner, so should have access. I'm not sure, but my guess would be that this kind of game integration would only be available to the title developer, so probably wouldn't be something that an outside party could develop.
