    Re: Multi-player editor question

As I understand the OP, he's asking if 4 different players will be able to control 4 different objects. We haven't really heard much about multiplayer trigger systems, or whether you can tie a specific trigger to a single rider.

I have NO idea if this is possible or not.

I know this was a side point, and not the original question, but yes, they've confirmed you can make custom 4-player tracks. They even said you can curve the drive line:

There is no limitation between normal, multiplayer or skill game tracks. Each of those uses same driving line feature.
Straight lines can obviously be done by placing only start and end point.

That way all bikes ride the same distance. Of course, obstacles on the lines are up to you to keep fair (or not fair). Distance between lanes can be modified also.
Did we mention you can modify lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of stuff? (then some more stuff and the ability to do some cool things you won't believe!

Hmm. Do you think we can individually manipulate each driving line on a 4-lane multiplayer course? Make them curve differently, or even cross each other (overpass/underpass, or crashes!)?

    Re: Multi-player editor question

I don't think we will have individual control over the 4 lines if only because local multiplayer must show every bike on the screen at once. If 4 players zoom off in different directions then the camera would have to zoom pretty far away, or just keep resetting the bikes at checkpoints.

    Sounds bad either way.

Yeah this is exactly what my questions was. It would definately have to be developed as a skill game somehow but i think it would be awesome to be able to assign different objects to the four different players. Then you can bring in ideas of co-op puzzle progression where timing and teamwork advance you to the next section or something like that.

I would love if some green text showed up and was able to give us a slight idea
