Recovering from landing on your head

When I tip over onto my head, I can sometimes recover by shuffling forward until I reach an up-ramp, which gives me enough leverage to get fully upright.

Is it possible to recover on a completely flat surface? How do I do that?

Yep.. you need to do a clip flick of the stick to push yourself backwards using your head and then brake until you can balance on the front wheel and get the weight to shift back so you can get back on both wheels.

You can do it without using the back brake. Have it so your rider is in the seated postion (but obviously upside down) then just flick right and left to pop out ot this. Sometimes you may need do it twice to get the momentum from the first attempt to bounce you back up higher. I learnt it by watching Malachyte's higher level ninja vid's.

I always use the d-pad when I get stuck on my head like that, I have a much better recovery ratio that way.

I can *almost* get myself to the balance point, but not quite, holding the brake.
So using the D-pad is more reliable?

Any youtube videos or tutorials that show the best way to do this?
I looked at Malachyte's channel, but with over 1000 vids, and 367 with the keyword "ninja", I couldn't find any examples that showed this.

Where's the best track to practice this?

D-Pad is quicker and easier, but I'm such a beast who needs D-Pad!

Very cool. D-pad, and NOT holding the brake. That works surprisingly easy, thanks everyone!
Works much better than the way I had been doing it (L-stick, holding the brake).

the best way i think is to move the analog stick in a upwards semi-circle from right to left, fast but not to fast. the best way to practice would be on a clear custom map, just do a bunny hop from a standing start, when your on your front wheel brake so you fall to your head.
maby do that next to a ramp so you dont crash whill going to your head.
    hope that helps good luck.

ps. think i learnd that from watching a replay. its the way i do it now, before it was just press B, had no clue you could do such a thing.
