BUT IT MOVES IN A VERY PARTICULAR FASHION: DURING THE COURSE OF THE DAY, IT CLIMBS 3 METRES.

IF IT STARTS ITS ACCENT ONE MORNING, HOW MANY DAYS WILL IT REQUIRE TO REACH THE TOP OF THIS WALL??
hint... 10 days is not the answer.

D2E: 2
D3E: 3
D4E: 4
D5E: 5
D6E: 6
D7E: 7

The snail will reach 10m at the end of climbing on day 8.

A MASTER ASKS HIS PUPIL:
"I AM FOUR TIMES AS OLD AS YOU WERE, WHEN I WAS THE SAME AGE AS YOU ARE NOW.
I AM FORTY YEARS OLD, HOW OLD ARE YOU?"
hint: you may need pen and paper to work this out........
25?
Here's a puzzle from professor layton game that I'm currently playing:
A quiet road is lit by ten streetlights. Deep in the dead of night, the lights are blown by a power surge and all the lights are replaced.
Unfortunately, the new bulbs are poor quality, and one breaks every two hours. Finding it hard to keep up, the unlucky repairman only manages to bring a replacement bulb every three hours.
How many bulbs will still be lit after 12 hours?
