I had a hernia. It is now fixed. I feel like I got a side-ache, the kind you get when you go running.

Now I have about a week and a half off of work. I am taking pain meds and playing videogames. I am not allowed to lift more than 5 pound, so I cant change diapers. My wife is tending to my every need. The only downfall is no sex for a month or so... . Worth it!

I felt the same way after getting my wisdom teeth out. Five hours later I was playing video games with no pain and everyone attending to my needs. AWESOME.

lol hahaha i had my tonsils taken out 2 months ago and had 2 weeks off work with ****loads of pain meds and did nothin but play games. Enjoy your downtime, those dont come too often.
