CES 2012 is just around the corner and I'm going to assume there will be a presence of Trials Evolution in some way, shape or form.
I think we will get 2 key pieces of information, 1 being a new Video of the editor and 2 being some solid time line for release. I'm not going to say a date, because I heard a rumour that Microsft are doing a release pack like the summer of arcade. Games to include I Am Alive and some others I can't remember now. We might get included in the editor video an overview of track central.
Trials Evolution was at a few expos last year.. Maybe them all after E3 and that's my reasoning that something might arise from this one. Fingers crossed hey!
By the way, IGN has changed the date on their website to March 31st...as with lots of other games. So that's safe to assume a safe, vague guess by them. Nothing to take notice of I'm sure.
We should definitely expect an editor video, however it seems RedLynx are reluctant to let us know anything about the release date. I'm not expecting anything along the lines of an estimation, I think they'll only announce the date when they are sure it will be 100% certain. As for IGN, they are clueless, they'll put anything on their website if it'll generate some hits.![]()
Unfortunately, they aren't on the list. That would be great to see at least a demo at the Microsoft booth. Considering, it's right down the road, I'd take some video for everyone here...if my buddy can get me a pass.Originally Posted by acab
Can you blame them? Look at how people react now without a date. Imagine they give a date and it gets pushed back.....lol I'd rather not have a date, than get hopes up when its not on time. People will always *****, only give info when its solid info.Originally Posted by xMotionSickness
The reason IGN does this is because March 31st is the end of the 1st quarter of the year, and since on TE's webpage, it says coming soon, its reasonable to believe it will be here before the quarter is over.Originally Posted by KurtCobain
Trials won't be releasing in the Xbox live arcade house party as per Major Nelson at CES. http://majornelson.com/2012/01/10/house-party-details/
It kicks off on the 15th Feb, so we can assume Trials will be after then.
Although, Major Nelsons upcoming list for the near future had no arcade cakes in it whatsoever ever... Strange. http://majornelson.com/2012/01/10/a-...n-to-the-xbox/
Ill bet triale evolution is gonna be in the summer of arcade lineup
Maybe. The line up for the Xbox live arcade house party already has a Ubisoft game, maybe thats a reason for it being delayed more. They cant have 2 releases from the same publisher perhaps.
Also, I really hope Ubisoft dont have a splash screen in Trials Evolution, seeing as though its recent thing... dont want them to claim all the glory... or part of it!
