In my family we use to have one family member playing Santa for Christmas who's giving out the presents and spreads the laughter, because he unfortunately isn't a really good Santa!There seems to be some traditions of how to celebrate Christmas that are different from family to family. So I made this thread. You can post your very own family Christmas traditions or just come up with your very own idea of a funny Christmas tradition!
Btw: Today I was told, that I would have to be the Santa this year...Oh god!
Im not sure if you would call this a tradition, but its still kinda funny.
For years now we've been putting a toy mouse in a sleigh, and then hanging it on our tree. Quite a while ago when i was young, me and my sister would fight EVERY year about weather or not we put santa, or the mouse in the sleigh(I always wanted the mouse). Every day we would each go to the tree and either take the mouse out, and put santa in, or vice versa. One year my parents got so upset at us for yelling, they took the mouse away that christmas

My family make bets on where my uncle passes out. Always the kitchen.

I read the Necronomicon in complete darkness (except for one lit black wax candle) and baptize roadkill in blood. All, of course, to please the dark lord.
Not really a tradition, but I usually get drunk and play guitar while my uncle or cousin sings
Open presents. Parents and grandma get into an argument. I go off to my room.

Me, my sister, and my Dad always go to an Asian restaurant that's opened on Christmas Day. Always have, always will.
..I think we pulled it from A Christmas Story, when she burns the turkey and they go to that Chinese place where the waiters are like "Deck the halls with boughs of Farry, Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra, Ra Ra. Ra. Ra."
Pretty fun, actually!
I love this tradition, sooo so so much.
