I like the original dashboard from 360s launch. To quote myself from a different thread. Just in case I was the only one that read alot of the new terms of service. I think people should know this.

I think there was also something in there about storing information about your computer too. Seems pretty creepy to me. I agreed, because otherwise my gold membership would go to waste, but I don't think I'll be hosting drunken xbox party's anymore and I think I'll sell my Kinect it's not like I use it anyway.

Honestly Xbox is pushing **** too far. Some of these rules and regulations and such seem to be going against our rights.

Any "missing" avatar things or themes can be re-added by clicking on your avatar and going to either "change theme" or "customize avatar".

    Not surprising.

I used to meditate in the dashboard when I finished playing. No I Just switch the wretched thing off.

Ummm... I don't really see why everyone is complaining. They have had previews and mock-ups available for months. That was the real time to voice concerns.

I'm not used to the new dash, but I'll get used to it, just like we all did when NXE was released (the dash before this update). New interfaces always make people mad. I don't know why the ads are bothering people either. I had tons of beef jerky, Honda, and Mtn Dew ads (with sound) before this update.

    Re: new dashboard

I'm just saying that the new dash shouldn't come as a surprise. They sent out emails telling people to check it out and offer feedback. If more people would have actually viewed the email instead of just ignoring/blocking/deleting it, then the dash might be different.

Did you read the email and check out the screen shots of the dash? If you did, then you knew it was coming, if you didn't, maybe you should have. People being upset when they are given a chance to offer feedback, and don't, is something that I actually think is kinda funny.

    All I'm saying.

PS: As a former Xbox Community Xpert, it may not have been a global email. If it wasn't, then sorry.
