    Tonsils Removal

    Anyone had this done after the age of 18? Im havin surgery, gettin mine removed in the morning and i hear its really painful. Well on the bright side i got a week off from work. Ill be lookin into beatin some of AJ's and some of the other guys times.

    Thanks man. Surgery is in bout few hours. Cant wait to get it done with. I hate hospitals!

    Nothing to worry about man, had the same when i was 9 or 10 orso.
    I can't remember any pain, but you get a lot of free ice to eat afterwards

    i would advice to eat a lot of ice afterwards cos the don't stitch the wound but burn it with a laser to close it.

    Make sure someone is with you xD You are going to be so out of it. I went with my friend last month. She was in alot of pain for a week or so.

    My mum had it and said it wasn't that bad.. then again she's double hard. There is a plus in that you get to eat lots of ice cream afterwards.

    EDIT: I dare you to do a handstand throughout the operation, let's see what they remove then.

    EDIT: I've left the insult in as I don't like to hide from anything I say. However, I will say sorry though -I've just came from arguing with some bigoted idiots about asylum seekers and racists so am a bit wound up.

    Surgery went well, wasnt painful as i thought itd be- almost like havin a bad case of strep but nothin i cant handle. Got me loads of painkillers and free time all week!

    yeah I got mine removed when i was like 10, I had 18 strep throats in a year havent had one since. you will have a really sore throat for about a week, its hard to eat anything thats not soup or ice cream lol
