Re: Shifty's 3DsMax/AE Projects - Rims of Friendship! Ha.
Her's one I did for our very own 420, still the same rims, I need to make a new scene:

And here's one I did for all of those AWESOME 1000 Heroz fans!:

I know that there are some problems with the 1000 Heroz one, like the velvet ropes not being attached to
hooks and just kinda stretched into place, and the hair on the character model, and the arms, hands, head,
mouth, eyes, and feet. Especially the teeth that look like they got smashed in with a brick, but hey, how
closely can you really see those heroz anyways? Seriously.

Thanks Don! I took the most time trying to get those big *** feet in the right proportion to the body. Then I took a long time trying too make the head the right size too.
Weird Heroz anatomy. Who would have thought that such a low poly character would be more difficult than a motorcycle?!
Anyhow, glad you liked it!

Re: Shifty's 3D Projects - 1000 Heroz Museum Display Wallpaper!
So.... There's a movie that I Really enjoy... Well, maybe not the stories so much as
the effects and "World". I have decided to incorporate it with something else I enjoy.
More details SOON.
PS: I'm digging the way this is coming out.
UPDATE:
I finished my whole scene today, including Post work after I rendered it out of 3Ds
Max. Not too bad for 3 hours work.
First up is a render I did the other day, I added all of the Redlynx-based objects I had
made into the Museum setting, and rendered it out.
Here's that one,

And here's the scene that I started today. Admittedly I had the idea last night while
flipping through some tv channels. In a digital world, why WOULDN'T they have
Trials-Style transportation.
Here's my take on Trials in the TRON World, or TRIALS: LEGACY,

Maybe it's because I was halfway inspired, but I had a blast doing a future based
version of the Phoenix. Getting the glows and dark metal materials the way I
wanted was a little bit of a pain, but I am happy enough with the way it turned out. I
should have used a higher value on my smooth modifier, as you can tell by some of
the strange looking reflections, but this bike only has 26k polys, whereas the "real"
style bike had 300k.
I only spent 3 hours on the project from start to finish, and that's so much less than
the 1st motorcycle I did.
Hope someone enjoys it. Thanks for the feedback on all of my previous projects
too. It is certainly appreciated.
Got an idea? I'm up for trying to make it. It'll help me learn.

Re: Shifty's Projects - Experimental Trials-Lightcycle!
HOLY CRAP, SHIFTY!!
I'm not a fan of Tron, but that's the coolest thing you've made yet! If RL doesn't put that in Evo, I'm flying to Finland to have a beard battle with Antti to the death!! Probly my death, though

That reminds me of the sci-fi racer, Extreme G. How I would pimp for a sci-fi racer.

Re: Shifty's Projects - Experimental Trials-Lightcycle!
@Star - I actually though of Extreme G (N64) while I was making it. When I went back to compare, they aren't very much alike at all. The EG bikes are closed cockpit jet powered vehicles with 2 standard wheels.
The TRON vehicles have aspects that go against our current knowledge of physics. As such, neither wheel on the TRON-inspired Trials bike is actually connected to the bike. Except by magnetic fields, maybe.
Just thought it was weird that we had close to the same thought when the similarities end at 2 wheels.
