So that's why Rayman was sitting right next to Evo at the London Expo![]()
One of the event staff asked my mate if he wanted a go on it while he waited for Evo, I won't write his response here![]()
Joe, that was a total coincidence.Originally Posted by JoeRegular

How did this all come about, did Ubisoft approach RL or have RL been looking for a larger partner? When did the ball start rolling? If it's ok to ask about these things anyway.

Ubisoft is known for releasing titles across multiple consoles, will this acquisition help to get a Trials game (back) to PC and maybe PS3?
I think that people are really worried about Redlynx remaining the Redlynx that we all know. The dev interaction, suggestions that are not only read but are also taken into consideration. Seriously high quality games. When a flaw is found in a Redlynx game after it's release, there is a patch out for it (typically) within 2 weeks. You guys don't really PUSH your games out just to get money faster, the community here just wants to be sure that 99% of what they know here stays the same.
Ubisoft definitely has some extra resources and capital that would do nothing but help Redlynx, we just want you guys to stay the same.
PS: I knew something was up when Jorma, ANBA, sipe, Jenkki, and sebbbi were all browsing the forum.
I can't really address those myself, ANBA can if he likes, but we're setting up some press interviews that should hopefully sort out some of these questions in the next few days.Originally Posted by JoeRegular

I can't complain about this merge but I really hope that nothing bad comes of it. Like somebody else said about Microsoft and Rare, I'm hoping that Ubisoft doesn't destroy what makes RedLynx the awesome development team that they are. Also, does Ubisoft still use that annoying online DRM? I really hope that crap stays away from future RedLynx games, I can't stand not being able to play my games offline![]()
