The correct question is, 'Is Starfire a male or a sexy lady?'
Bobo, motivation is overtalked and overrated. My only motivations (in summary) are towards video games, my novel, and my friends.
Edited: ask, 'Is that a door?'
credit to star, thinking outside the boxbut thats still really a 'is that "true thing" true?' you have to assume they dont know what a door is, theyre just guarding heaven and hell.
when i heard it first (worded the same way) i went with "are you guarding a door?" its obviously a flawed riddle but its a fun one.
neither is "are you guarding either heaven or hell?"![]()
definitely shouldnt have picked this one..
We have to assume the guards don't know what "guarding" is, and we have to assume that they don't know anything at all, including the words "heaven", "hell", and "you".![]()
And I think it's safe to assume that the chicken crossed the road when her eggs started singing "Boogie Fever", but that doesn't help us here either![]()
You approach either of the two guards and you ask, "If I ask the other guard which door is the door to heaven, which one would he point to?"Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
This works, because when asked of the liar, he will lie and say that the truth-teller will point towards Hell.
And when asked of the truth-teller, he will tell the truth by saying that the liar will also point towards Hell.
So, whichever guard you happen to ask, whatever door he points to, that's the door you definitely should not choose.
You have two ropes and a lighter. Both ropes are exactly the same. Both ropes share the same property that, when lit at one end, the rope will burn for exactly 60 minutes. The ropes, however, do not necessarily burn at a constant rate, meaning it may take 59 minutes for one half of the rope to burn, and one minute for the final half (or any other combination of burn rates, it's random).
Using these two ropes and a lighter, how could you time exactly 45 minutes?
Straight outta this amazing film (the evil guy is David Bowie!!) Labyrinth!Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ![]()
