Very true. I just need motivation. And that, my dear Watson, is hard to come by.
i'll start you off then:
theres 2 kids sitting on a bench. one boy and one girl.
the blonde-haired kid says "im a girl".
the brown-haired kid says "im a boy".
at least one of thems lying.
which ones the boy and which ones the girl?
Well if at least one is lying, but they're not both the same gender, I can only assume they're BOTH lying. So blondie's the boy and brownie's the girl?Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ![]()
Ok, since Willy just teased my brain a bit, I'll tease your's as well with a riddle that used to confuse the crap outta me![]()
What can go up a chimney down, but not down a chimney up?
i dont understand what the second pair of up/downs mean, so i cant really work it out![]()
but heres another one, you might have already heard this;
theres 2 doors. one to heaven and one to hell.
there are also 2 guards in front of each door.
heavens guard will always tell the truth and hells guard will always lie.
you want to choose heaven but you can only ask one question to one of the guards to find out which is the right door.
what do you ask?
Lemme know if you give up and want the answer. I'll PM it to you.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ![]()
As for your riddle, it does sound familiar, but I don't recall if I ever knew the answer.
And it's too late in my day to be figuring out such an evil question![]()
That would work, wouldn't it... But is that the answer?Originally Posted by Starfire999

ive never seen it worded fully but obviously this allows any 'is this "true thing" true' questions which arent the 'desired' answer.
i'll improve it (sorry):
basically the guards have no knowledge of anything unrelated to those doors so you can only ask questions related to the situation (the guards, heaven/hell, doors, truth/lies).
