It's all in how one perceive it in ones's head. Text, especially online, is difficult to fully grasp when you don't know someone too well. Don't let this stuff get to you so much, star. Shifty's just trying to be part of the community just like the rest of us. And I think he does just fine being a mod. He's fairly diplomatic. ( i hope that's the right word)

I didn't threaten you with a warning, I told you how that situation would need to be resolved if you really wanted it to be "by the book". As such, I gave neither of you warnings, I thought that was nice.

"Malicious" is too strong of a word. And your "jokes" (that only you see as jokes most of the time) tend to wear a bit thin. We all want the same thing; an enjoyable forum, free of nonsense. That's not really possible though, since, even though we have the same desire, we go about achieving it in disagreeable ways. Y'all just need to PRETEND to get along.

You demand action be taken against everyone who slights you, yet you have no problems "exposing" (insulting) people yourself.

I don't insult anyone first. I didn't provoke Hardkore man. I exposed Redrider and Kyoshi for their modded controllers. I was 100% right they used enhanced controllers. I wasn't doing anything wrong.

Insulting me over and over again is not slighting someone. I don't come even close to leaching onto a person and insulting them repeatedly the way Hardkore man and Chicago do.

I wasn't provoking Hardkore man in my thread. I was exposing his brilliant sentences for all to see, and saying that I'm not happy bout it.

You say that the Moderators are dictators, but that isn't true. I'll break it down.

You have absolute power in this forum. I restrain myself constantly when I visit the forum (notice I haven't made any new threads in off topic in some time) - edited - that's not because of moderators, but because of the community. Don't patronize me with definitions. Dictatorship can refer to something in control. Such as "I am bounded by the dictatorship of my car". And if you must use definitions, try not to talk about the Roman Empire. Double edited - but yeah, the moderators here are not dictators, so I apologize. When I said it months ago I was thinking of my former schools.

There are certainly limits on my, and all Moderators, authority.

There are limits on the dictatorship of a car too.

I will not remove posts that are insulting at a Kindergarten level, such as "I don't like you, and nobody else does either." because, seriously, being insulted by something like that is beneath all of us.

So you are freely allowing people to repeatedly say I HATE YOU. This is a breach of forum policy, and you as a moderator are bounded by the forum policy.

I hate getting PMs that say "OMG LOOK AT THIS THREAD/POST/USER IT/HE/SHE SHOULD BE DELETED/MERGED/BANNED!1!!!!", unless I specifically ask someone to point it out to me, please just use the report function, that's why it's there.

This doesn't apply to me. I tolerate all posts except personal attacks on me from people who have not been given the license to insult me.

I guess I am just saying that we can't be lazy, worthless, people who don't do our jobs, yet, at the same time, be oppressive dictators.

I admit I was out of line. But I didn't call moderators worthless when you gave me the warning. I said double-standard and I still believe that the other release date thread is identical to about 200 posts in the bigger release date thread.

I didn't realize that I hold a commanding lead in the post count.

I'll try to overtake you.

PS. And I'll edit the rest of what you posted. I was angry before, but I feel better today.
