It amazes and annoys me when people seem to pull intelligence outta their asses. Or, more accurately, when I fall short on explaining my rather simple points of view and those people misunderstand what was an open & shut case in my sometimes short-sighted head.
But it's nice that this forum harbors those with said intelligence that actually know how to use it for happy thoughts rather than only being a literal smart-***.
Anyway, thanks for reading this silly post![]()
to be honest, that would amaze me aswell.Originally Posted by bobozilla

Well no. But only because it isn't really aimed at anyone. It's really more of a warning for anyone that has the misfortune of reading my posts. This way, they know that "objects may appear dumber than they seem"Originally Posted by picklezz08![]()
Come on Bobo, liven up. If you are annoyed about what you have subjected yourself to in your past, you can work towards reversing that.
Don't take that too strongly. It's not like I'm raging or anything. It's just a wee bit bothersome.Originally Posted by Starfire999
I guess you can add a little jealousy in there too. I'm (almost) 27, didn't make it past 10th grade, and most of my younger cousins (12-19) are well beyond the academic level I could ever achieve. Textbooks don't make sense to my brain. I can learn pretty much anything the average person can, just not from school. I've learned (and by learn, I mean that I actually understand) more from a weekend with the Discovery channel than I ever could in school. That's what truly annoys me.
Well, I look down on myself for going through universitywas coerced but I still look down on myself). School hindered my growth enormously. I'm 26. If you are referring to school textbooks, they are written in stale, dead, neutral English, so they shouldn't make sense to you. But if you want to improve and grow in whatever area, you know that you can do it.
