Still waiting for my uncensored BF3 from Switzerland via Mail..... Germany's censorship sucks

so far i either cant find a game or im lagging to bad to play. hopefully it will get sorted.

in the meantime ive finished the campaign on hard and apart from a handful of great moments it was just ok. and really short.

honestly, not really impressed.

BF3 has been a huge disappointment for me
I dont even feel like going into detail...

But im honestly contemplating selling this game and actually buying MW3, a game that i said i would kill myself if i bought

So far every game has just upset me. Gears 3 sucks, BF3 sucks, Uncharted 3 campaign will be good - Co-op will be ok (already played a demo mission that sucked though) - and Online sucks (already have the online)

The last hope for me is Trials Evo. Im sure RedLynx wont disappoint like every other game company has...

I never heard you say battlefield was gonna suck. But whatever. And no im not getting dark souls. I dont even know what it is nor do i want to get another game right now

BFBC 2 was the only multiplayer FPS I ever liked, but judging from the demo BF3 is going to be complete crap.

The beta took away everything that was good about BFBC 2. No vehicles, no destructible environments, and no balance.

First of all, the map they gave us is ****. If you could export that map to Call of Duty it would play exactly the same. Other than a few trees there was not a single piece of destructible environment. The first and last third of the map should have had a lot more to destroy. The second part of the map doesn't even belong in a Battlefield game.

There were also no vehicles, but I guess the beta is glitchy and laggy enough as it is.

Finally they got rid of the balance that made BFBC 2 so great. In BFBC 2 you had to get a head shot to one-shot kill someone as a sniper. Not anymore. Now sniping is just as easy and overpowered as it is in every other FPS.

In short, it is quite obvious they are going to ruin Battlefield by making it as generic as every other FPS so that they can compete with Call of Duty. Also why are people renting it for the campaign? Other than the pretty graphics it's going to be completely worthless just like every other FPS that is focused on multiplayer.

He said it in the BF3 Beta thread a while back. So whatever. Don't write Darksouls off just because you haven't seen it. Maybe you could trade in all of those disappointing games and pick it up.

I hate when people DON'T judge games based upon betas/demos. THAT'S WHAT BETAS/DEMOS ARE FOR.

Ignoring the bugs and lags in the beta is fine, since that was supposed to get fixed, but the point of a demo is decide whether or not you want to buy the game. If you like the demo, buy the game. If you hate the demo, don't buy the game.

Not necessarily aimed at XProfessional, just in general.
