Wait.... Wasn't Doom 2 a single level shooter where enemies could be above or below but you just moved left and right and the game automatically shot high or low?

Lots of enemies meant a lot of fast precision was involved (far from easy). It is one of the best established FPSs for speedrunning, be it fast finishes or max kills. I can link a website if you are interested.

I used to play this game a lot. But moved on to more boring things...
