    Re: 1000 Heroz User Bios

    Hey all,
what to say about me...lemme think. Maybe some will know me from Trials HD already but for all those who don't know me i'll write down some little infos about myself.

The name is Phil and i am 30 years young. i am a graphic/web designer born and raised in germany but now i am living in france. i am really addicted to graphic design and typography, also i am doing graffiti for over 16 years now.

I was playing Quake 3 Arena - Trickjumping and Defrag - for almost 9 years hardcore active every day and i have a lot of videos out there in the internet. I was in the most famous Quake 3 Arena Trickjumping team called Team iT (infinite Trajectory). It was an amazing team all around the world and all those guys were just awesome! Also our videos were shown at the biggest Quake lan - the Quakecon. I am still into Quake 3 but the community was destroyed after the source code was released from Quake 3 because a lot of people started to cheat and i saw no motivation anymore to play against cheaters which times you can't beat normally. i just play for myself nowadays.

So i searched for a similar game like Quake 3 but never found one who really can be that perfect like Quake 3 for myself.
Finally i got my soul lost in Trials HD and Audiosurf. i reached my goal in Trials HD to be in the top 50 global leaderboards after this i was getting bored a bit and tried new games, like skate, skate 2, skate3. But no game could give me the feelings back which i had when i played Quake 3 Arena (and i doubt there will be any game for me who can beat Quake 3 Arena). Audiosurf i played also for a little while and had lots of fun with this game.

When i bought my iPhone4 i found 1000heroz in the app store 11 days after the release and i bought it. i was really amazed from this game and since this day i am playing every day the daily run (like all of you).
Currently i own place 99 in the global leaderboards and my goal is to reach the top 50.

My music taste is really easy i am open minded to all genres of music which i like. mostly drum and bass, dub step, electro, metal, hardcore techno, gabber...it depends on my mood. last months i am not listening a lot of music.

I worked in several agencies as a graphic design head creating everything for print products and as a web designer building nice websites always up-to-date (technics like HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and more).
Nowadays i don't want to work for any agencies anymore cuz i can't express myself there and i need this in my life to express myself. i don't like to have a boss. so i am running my own business for all kinds of graphic design, web design, illustrations, video, print stuff and all the other things you want/need nowadays.

My love to graffiti is also endless. it's not a hobby for me it's a lifestyle. i am living this lifestyle since a long time now and also this will never stop in my life because i always NEED to be a creative head. I am really not into this whole hip hop world and i really don't like it. also i am not into rap music or whatever hip hop is all about - i don't care. in my eyes graffiti is not a hip hop thingy. i know a lot of people think it has something to do with hip hop but not for me.

    what else to say...ahh yeah

i like to ride bike, love to go swimming in the pool or in the big blue ocean.
I am totally in love with the big white shark and i really have to see him live in a cage. best thing would be to meet the big white one without a cage but its a bit dangerous.
i really love mostly all kind of animals.

when i was younger i used to do a lot of sports like swimming, basketball, inlines, skateboard, soccer, table tennis, tennis and some more. nowadays i don't do sports anymore...just running sometimes... ;D

oh yes since i am working in my job as graphic/web designer i turned into a complete Apple nerd.
i think this should be enough for the moment...if anyone has some questions feel free to ask me.

if someone wants some links to my Quake 3 or Audiosurf videos - feel free to ask me i am now too lazy to search them...it's already 5:38 in the morning and no sleep for me yet. ;D

Have a nice day everyone - Iam out - searching my bed now.

Oh and sorry for posting such a long post in an old thread.

Wow. I took a quick look at some Team iT videos. It's encouraging to see that - with enough dedication - we nerds can do beautiful things! Very impressive! (Makes me wish I'd have had enough money for a decent computer back then...)

Welcome to the forums! (I must ask: What took you so long?!)

And good luck on cracking the top 50! Your Trialz information suggests you're more than able.

    Thanks also to you eisegete!
I am really glad you enjoyed the quick look at some Team iT videos. Many many thanks! May I ask which ones you saw? Tricking iT2? iT Defrag?

The good thing with Quake 3 was and still is you don't need a good PC to play it.
I guess you can play it with a pentium 2 or 3 already.
In the Quake 3 community back in those days we had a lot of russian guys who played with such ****ty PC's and made amazing times in Defrag or stunning freestyle tricks.
Ok for TrialsHD, i have to admit that my TrialsHD information in my signature are a bit old, but i have all platinum medals (which includes also all DLC).
Right now i can't check it cuz when i moved to france i didn't take my xbox with me...just some clothes and my macbook.

Anyways...today i am not so lazy like last night so i will post some Quake 3 and some Audiosurf videos later for you guys.

Thanks to all who took the time and read my little story about myself...I had also a lot of fun to read all the post which were already in this thread.
