When my friends and I started playing 1000 heroz we thought that the heroes of each track was like him when they were running around all crazy. Therefore DILLE

OK...It's been a while since anyone's posted here so I'll see if I can get the ball rolling again. I'm a 42 year old married dad of 3 boys aged 9,7 & 4. I live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. Possibly the nicest city on the planet! I am originally from Calgary Alberta. I have lived in Vancouver for just about 20 years and thought that my gaming days were behind me when my first boy was born as I gave up smoking the blunt and really had zero time to play, then I met the iPhone! I dabbled a bit with different games here and there but found Heroz on day 5 and can't seem to put the damn thing down. I hooked my buddies Wrath and Killemall with the pretense that they couldn't put it down, I was right. Heavy into Metallica since '84 and just took my two oldest to the concert they filmed in 3D on the 24th of August. Maybe the greatest show ever! It was cool cause they filmed my boys coming into the concert with their retro 80's jean jackets patches and all. Maybe we'll see them in the movie! Anyway it's great to get to know you guys at some certain level and am still amazed how Robz and Rook continue to always be at the top. WTF!!! Great job!! As I write this on day 459 I am sitting at first and am hoping for my 7th #1. I do all my running on a a 4 and constantly wonder would I be better on a pad? Well that's all for now and who knows maybe we'll see each other in Vegas in 2014! Oh yeah in case anyone's wondering about the handle Peachlover it's not because I love fruit

Thanks for introducing yourself, Peach! It's nice to finally meet the man. I remember all the derogatory Peach nicknames (mainly ones referencing the princess) I would call you when I was attempting to pass you on the globals. Now I feel bad.

My dividing line for Metallica is pre and post haircuts. I'm absolutely a pre haircut Metallica fan. I remember getting so disappointed when all my favorite metal bands went on Headbanger's Ball on MTV back in the day with cut hair. Then Riki Rachtman cut his hair and, well, metal slipped into the abyss on mainstream TV.

Personally speaking, I've only ever run Heroz on an iPad. I got the game 10 days in on the iPad 1 and am now using the 3. I attempted to use a friend's iPhone to show him how to play and that 3.5" screen is just too small for me. You can see the contours better and more of the level on an iPad and that's a huge benefit for me ( I might just be old and can't see as well, too). However, Nytmair uses an iPhone. I guess it's personal preference.

As far as your number one for the day goes, best of luck to you for your 7th win! I'm using a different line and goofed the ending a bit **edit** when I wrote this I had 2nd... **/edit**

    Hi all,
I'm Nebsies, and new to the forum, though i have read around here in the past. I am a compatriot of Peachlover (a Canadian), born in Edmonton Alberta. My name is Nestor, and I've been playing since some day in the early 100s. My early results were awful, but if my current count stands true, I have myself 3 level wins.

My main interest is volleyball in all its forms and I'm an avid player.

I guess I should make note I'm young, yet to reach drinking age. Anyways, though the end of 1000 Heroz may be near, after reading through all the wonderful bios I felt the need to introduce myself.

It's nice to finally have faces behind the names on the leaderboards!

Welcome aboard Nebs. Happy to see you in the forums. I used to play a little competitive volleyball myself. There was an INDOOR beach volleyball league that I used to play in while I was in the Army. Fun game....but at 5'6" tall....I wasn't able to take it too far. I was one hell of a setter though. Hope we get to see more from you in the forums.

    Re: 1000 Heroz User Bios

    Hey guys!

My name is Roman and I am playing the game since early days. However, I have never played it competitively which results in a not so impressive score. Getting 3 stars was my only goal... This changed in the past few weeks, when I got into a custom league with alvyronson an somehow felt to compete with him.

I subscribed here because of him, he randomly added me at Game Center and I wondered how well the players know each other and whether there was a great community.

I am 21 years old and studying media information technology. My hobbys are table soccer (foosball) and Call of Duty. In both of them I am a professional player and competing at tournaments.

Back to 1000 Heroz, I think it's a pity that I only can spend so less time on such a great simple game. Also I believe that the total-gold-leaderboard is a nice extra, but only shows players who spent the most time on the game. A points-per-gold or points-per-restart ranking would be much more interesting in my opinion.

At the moment I am ranked 160 in the total leaderboard, looking forward to climb up.

See you soon at the 10-days-ranking

    Roman
