I bought an iPhone 4 because it was the cheapest Smartphone available got coupons!), I don't own an iPad, iPod, or any Mac PCs.

Sure, they have their place, but the Apple Business Model of charging high prices for second-string hardware with OSX, or whatever the new OS is, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

You can buy parts to make a comparable pc for less and even buy OSX, that doesn't mean you can INSTALL OSX on your freshly built computer.

OSX works well for what it does. Actually I would go so far as to say that it is an exceptional Operating System for all kinds of media.

That does not change my view-point on it being a shady, yet workable and highly exclusive, business practice.

Jobs did an amazing job of taking Apple from a second string computer company and making them the uber-trendy technological brand that they are today.

For that, I applaud him and wish his loved ones the best in, what I am sure is, a horrible situation.

Steve Jobs, he will be missed.
