Ok, Kyoshi clarified to me that he didn't do anything to mod his controller. He agrees with me (unlike some of you *cough*) that his controller performs better diagonally than most others (which is what I wanted to hear), and I agree that it's not his fault. So I'm sorry, Kyoshi, that I accused you of modding your controller.

For those who don't know, this all started when the top ghost replays, including Kyoshi's, in the game Mercury HG had a quicker start than everyone else. I have been unable to get a satisfactory explanation regarding these quick starts.

I did some research and found that your controller is totally modded. First, it's a PS2 controller in the style of a 360 which was sold by geeks.com for a limited time:

THEN. You fitted in custom analog sticks and replaced the central PS block with the xbox logo. As seen in the picture you provided me:



You use a custom cable that allows a PS2 controller to work on the xbox360. In the picture the top of the adapter doesn't look like a play and charge kit:

It's called a gamestop controller. One of the cheapest controllers you can get...

Also those aren't custom analog sticks. The paddings got ripped off because at one point I replaced them with gel cushions for better comfort. I didn't like them though because they felt weird so my controller remains unpadded at the moment.
