EHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm in a dilema, I'm looking to get a new, smart (like me!) phone.
I wants an iPhone, but they're very expensive! I was going to get one for £35 a month (24month) and got through the whole process only to find out I failed the credit check (because I have no credit history). So now I've had alittle time to think about it I was wondering if it's actually worth getting an iphone 4.
I mean iPhone 5 is coming out soon but I don't have a phone atm and kinda need one, but I don't want to buy some crappy thing for just a couple of weeks cause that's a waste of money.
just get a cheap nokia for now. iphone 5 should be coming soon enough
If you think the iPhone 4 is "some crappy thing", then don't buy one at all. Don't even get an iPhone 5 cause, really, they'll all be running iOS5 soon anyways.
Get you a Droid.
i think he's talking about getting some cheap phone for "two weeks", and then getting iphone 5. i think.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

Yeah I meant some £10 phone lol.
And you both gave me different answers, THAT'S NOT HELPING!![]()
Wait for the 5.
The iphone 4 is a ton better than the 3... I assume the same jump will be made to the 5.
I've never had an iphone but i really want one. My plan is eligible for an upgrade in january. So im going to get the iphone 4 for only $50 then whatever it costs per month (which doesnt matter to me because my mom pays the phone bill for me and my sister who already has the iphone 3).
If i were to upgrade to an iphone 5 it would be $250 then the same cost per month. So FFFFFFFFFF that im going to pay $50 and get the iphone 4.
Ohh yea i know this doesnt help u at alljust figured i would say my situation

I was going to get a Droid. I had an old *** flip phone (no camera) that finally broke.
The day I was going to look at phones I got a "save $75 on iPhoe 4 at Verizon".
That made the Droid a $200 phone, and the iPhone a $125 phone. I went with the iPhone.
If you want an easily customizable phone I would certainly recommend the Droids over the iPhone unless you plan on jailbreaking.
Jailbreaking can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.
True. Android phones are way more customizable out of the box.
However, the reason I like the iphone more is there are more apps.
When a company makes an app, the first thing they do it for is the iphone.
I know android is catching up, but I still don't think its good enough.
I can say this becuase I went from an iphone 2g to an android g1 to an iphone 2g to an android mytouch to an iphone 4![]()
