So yeah I went to get my haircut today and was sat in the barbers waiting for 10 mins while I got chatting to this bloke about games... started when he was playing angry birds on this iphone... but then I said do you play any other games console wise he said one game he said he was competing with his mate with is on Trials HD...
I was like heh I got some videos on youtube... of me playing it. He was like oh really... started putting up youtube on his phone and he said what do I type in. I just said put my gamer tag in.
After this he was looking at the recent video I put up which was Jook13's Spit Fit track he was like WTF? Never seen anything like this before. I said yeah he is a good track maker, you should add him, then he asked me what place I am... told him that lot and he said he would add me.
Anyone else had an encounter like this?

People don't like trials. it's not a "Real Game" like CoD or GoW or Halo. Arcade games are for little kiddies.
This is how most of my friends see trials.

I always wear my trials hoodie hoping someone will recognize and say somthing... never happens. Not even at gamestop.

In Finland Trials is pretty know thou. So lets hope Evo will bring new people in. It should be easier to "sell" to people who play "real games" with outdoor and mp etc etc

And i've had a couple of encounters...But they seem to be nubs at Trials so i look a fool getting really excited talking about it while they are standing there like "It's just a game dude" :/
But i'm sure if i wear my Trials HD top out everywhere i'm bound to find some people
I dont know if this counts but when i first got an xbox around 3 years ago i got talking to a guy called mikey i still talk to him today and since then iv ended up randomly meeting atleast 5 of his real life friends online on different occasions and i thought that was wierd enough but i also found out not long ago that he knows Elements1992 in real life to
