my neighbor gave me his broken xbox, and i watched a youtube video that showed you how to clean it out, and take of the x-clamp and replace it with bolts, clean off and re-apply the heatsink paste and wammo it worked!
I think the x-clamp doesn't hold the cpu and gpu tight enough to the board

It has come back to haunt me Seems like my trick will not be lasting any longer. I bought a xbox yesterday from a guy I have done a lot of business with for $90. An elite console only, including shipping. Will probably be at my house Tuesday so no Trials
