So.... I'm about to start the last year of my 4 year Bachelors degree and this is some of the stuff ill be running through...
Paraellelism and poetic function
Deviation and foregrounding
Adapting narrative across semiotic modes
Using a corpus to substantiate analysis of literary vagueness.
Schema theory
Post modern multi model literature
Ordinary readers: a psycho-formalist approach.
Real readers: a social practices approach.
I'm intrigued but I'm feeling rather daunted, think I'll probably struggle with this.
I tried some topics and the results are all completely bullsh*t. Funny thoughOriginally Posted by eflixxx
On topic, the last two seem most interesting to me. What is it you study, anway?
This is a social sciences degree, which covers a very broad range of subjects, for me it was a mix of human behaviour, law and justice and this last part is "the art of english: literary creativity"
If I were going for a pure english degree this would be the last part of it, I was advised not to take this course but nevermind, I'm sure 'I'll be fine.![]()
No. Why would anyone want to know the psycho babble the universities come up with? "Real readers: a social practices approach..." That sentence is so dumb. Universities are composed of ******s.
You should tell your lecturers that I think they are dumb-*** ******s!! Tell them also that they scam people from real skill development, and that they are criminals! And tell them that I hate them!! And that they are losers!!
Here's some creative literature: "I would replace them with nothing." I read that somewhere.
And tell them the overpriced and prolonged dictatorship they practice will bite them in the arse from a higher dictatorship body.
Your first post made my brain cry.![]()
Out of those 8 topics that you posted. I know approximately 0% about either of them. Sorry.
Why? All eight concepts are very simple but disguised by grotesque bloated language.
So you know about these things starfire? Thats awesome, can I PM you if I need some help?![]()
Better yet, you can create a thread in off-topic about it and everyone can contribute to it.![]()
