When you win a one shot you feel masterful. I won Logging Area yesterday by a full 2 seconds. And I still feel there were areas I could have improved on.
Conversely, screwing up a one shot is the worst feeling. You spend about 20 minutes practicing, and then totally WHIFFFF on an easy part, and when you see the leaderboards the times you were consistently getting in practice were about a second ahead of everyone else.
I also love that you can race the top ghosts in the unlimited races, it's something that should totally be included in Trials Evolution
I really should go back to single player at some point![]()
Exactly! I was consistently getting top 10 times on Spring Canyon today while practicing. Then I decide to race for real, and end up on my back twice, losing 10 seconds!Originally Posted by attackslug

And grats on your top spot on Logging Area!![]()
Spring Canyon is exactly what prompted me to make this post.
I was doing 27.8 or so in practice, a full second ahead of the current top score.
Totally ****** it up in the loop after the second jump somehow. NOT EVEN THE HARD PART
I dont' have a Wii, but is One Shot basically where you get one run to place a time on a track and that is it forever? If so, that is awesome!
Yeah I practice and practice then when I race I just fall of the track and loose. T_T
Thought I did pretty well today with 25, though in practice I hit 24 a few times, just couldn't get it consistently
Also that propelled me to 1 on the leaderboards for the time being (until the other dudes wake up and play todays tracks)
I totally want this game.
Yeah, like that. You can take as many practice runs as you like, but you only get one go for an actual time.Originally Posted by Nytmair
Kind of like an Olympic ski run, that kind of thing. Totally different kind of time pressure.![]()
