First post + question about undocumented easter eggs...

Hey everyone, long time Trials fan. I've been playing since early 2010, and highly anticipate Trials 2.

My main reason for signing up was to ask about certain tracks that I've been unable to find any documentation in regards to the secrets that lie within them.

Before replying: I've searched the boards, the Secrets wiki, google, youtube, etc... and have found nothing, and although I'm sure it's been discussed, all I've found is speculation, so please, bear with me.

First and foremost, I've exhausted every single corner, nook and cranny of Skyway. I've made it to the nuke several times(on and off the bike), and nothing has produced any worthwhile information. I've spent hours on end(to the point of getting tunnel vision) trying to weasel my way onto the block after the first barrel ramp, and nothing. The game has been out for quite some time, and I'm honestly a bit disheartened that a game with such a cult following isn't given even a scrap of information as to the cryptic meaning behind such a cruel ninja course. The mere fact that logic plays the biggest role in my life is unable to come to a conclusion as to why this map would have no secret(Unless the secret is that there is no secret). I'm sure everyone here can agree that regardless of how insignificant the secret may be, it's still a secret that was obtainable in some form.
*Just so we're clear, I haven't completed the entire ninja course*

Secondly: Final Flashback. I've also exhausted every obvious and not so obvious triggers/spots that would induce hair pulling. When I say that I've given these maps a good run, I don't mean playing them a couple times, and then set off to post on a forum, I'm talking about gaining as much speed as possible, and throwing the rider into the ceiling, or getting explosives to send the rider into a multitude of directions, even though strategies like this are a stretch, they were tested, and nothing comes to fruition. I've heard nothing about the speculation of the Platinum message, either.

The message states: "Subject STG-1001 qualified." After attempting to research it, I find some ambiguous results relating to guns and/or mathematics, possibly encryption. Although vague on detail, after having a place to start with a secret, the end result on even a subtle hint becomes clear as to what the devs were trying to hide.

Also, Pipe Network. There was originally no documentation on it either, and because I'm stubborn, it's rare that I actively look up on secrets like this(let's face it, what's the fun in being told the secret?). After finding the meat grinder at the bottom, and testing it several times, I was unable to come to a conclusion on that map as well. After a lengthy exploration of Pipe Network, I looked online, and noticed no one had written anything for the Secrets Wiki, and ended up filling in what I could, which is there now.

I do apologize if this first post became a wall-o-text, but when I get into something, I really invest an unhealthy amount of time into it, as if the above text isn't a testament to that. I still enjoy trying to figure out some new, awkward method of finding secrets, glitches, easter eggs, etc... no matter how boring or downright unnecessary it might be.

Re: First post + question about undocumented easter eggs...

    Welcome.

I do suggest you head over to the easter eggs thread and catch up on the recent theories about the Trials HD Riddle. I assume from your post that you are already all over that though.

As for those tracks, the reason that there is no write ups about them is because to date no significant easter eggs have been found that relate to them. Remember that the Trials HD secrets wiki was originally built to assist in solving the riddle rather than trying to document each and every easter egg. It can be used for that, but that was not the focus.

All I can suggest is trying to get solid confirmation from the devfs. They are pretty active around here so I suggest you ask the questions you have, in a simple and concise way and you may get lucky and get a response. I think that after your effort (and the effort of others), that there may not be an easter egg at these places. Good luck though, im the last one that will talk you down from a theory and hope you get the answers that you are looking for.

I can say that on the track name thread that kobe did, he did explain the STG reference a bit. Not sure if it was right, but I think he found a link?
