I'll start...

- Space Invaders was once so popular it caused a coin shortage in japan.
- The name Nintendo roughly translated to English from Japanese is "Luck of Heaven" or "leave luck to heaven".
- One of the first computer games ever created was called SpaceWar! It was created at MIT on a 8 million dollar mainframe computer. It lead to the first commercially successful video game named Pong. There was 2 lesser known predecessors OXO (made in 1952) and Tennis for Two (made in 1958).

Mario was supposed to be called jumpman.They named him Mario after nintendo's landlord.

LOL. They should rename him to Super Mii U.

Here's a fact: Nintendo pronounce Wii incorrectly. Take the example of radii, and learn English you illiterate company. It should have been spelled Wi, but frankly, it should have been a different name altogether.
