Don't understand what is going on at the moment... We've been talkin for over a week now and everything is going fine, now I've asked her to meet up and she has been saying to me that she's shy but I don't mind and told her that it's upto her, I can understand that meeting someone you've just met is awkward but it's better to know if you connect in person.

Has she ever done the online dating thing before? If not, that would definitely add to the nervousness. I mean, she's the one with the ******. So she's naturally more nervous, since you (or any guy) might just be after such a thing. She just needs to be reassured that you're a decent guy that won't mistreat her. Give her a few more days of just talking. If she really likes you, she'll come around. If not, oh well. Good luck!

If she isn't wanting to meet up, but you are still find a connection online, I would just give it time.
I can imagine how (for some people) nerve wracking meeting up wtih a "stranger" could be, especially for a girl in this day and age.

Exactly! It´s just about the right girl dropping a unit of banked blood right next to you and making a mess of the whole room. Best conversation starter ever That´s how I met my last girlfriend, oh what a romantic first meeting...

The point is: Just relax, you´ll meet girls in the most unexpected situations. And as long you don´t pressure yourself too much it sure will work out.
