    Re: 180/180 Gold Medals

Bought it yesterday and played for about an hour. Graphics are really nice and the boost makes it defintely more fun! But I think I´m one of the worst DrawRace 2 players ever. Don´t get me worng, it´s fun, I just got no talent for that type of game...

You guys stay there in your 180 Club, I´m gonna cry in the basement about not being able to get gold on some novice levels

So with this and 1000 Heroz ´m bad since the update...) all my hopes go to Evolution

Some of the golds are really hard to get, even on novice.
What I found is that some tracks you can actually draw a slow line all the way round the track and just use the boost to get you down the straights. If you go from there and gradually make the line quicker you should start to get some faster times.
Also remember to brake EARLY and preferably in a straight line. It's better to go slow into a corner and start picking up pace midway through it than to outbrake yourself and run wide.

If a certain career challenge seems too difficult, try to replay the track after all cars (opponents) have crossed the finish line and you're given the option of re-trying.

Just keep on at it, it might take a little while o' reiterating, but soon enough you'll notice that you were able to pass that challenge and can move on to the next.

It's a combination of your skill improving, and the game engine lending you a hand...

I actually found the last few champion ones were harder than the elites... Not sure why, but I breezed through the elites. I did the last 9-10 on the train on the way home tonight, and that was in about 30 mins or less.

But when I go online, i feel like a total noob again. There are shortcuts everywhere that everyone else knows but ive been playing single player so much i dont see them..

Overall I really wanted to get 180/180 and it was fun all the way which surprised me. I was worried it would get all grindy but it was fine. I do agree with others that when you set a super fast time on your first 2 laps, you should get all three medals, not have to play it again. But if they did that, you would lose a heap of replayability and you would not learn to be consistent. I understand why they did it, just not what you want on the harder tracks... lol
