To be honest when we talked about this before I wanted the ninja level to be called insane. I still refer it to that now. guess when the new trials comes out we will be calling it hardcore.

I'm sure the community will be calling it a lot of things. People get ninja level 1 and level 2 mixed up every day.

Hardcore isn't a logical category after extreme IMO. The same goes for insane. The same goes for ninja. heh

So I got to thinking. I am very thoughtful, you know.

This is how I would do it:

extreme tier 1 = extreme or ninja tier 1
extreme tier 2 = ninja tier 2 or tier 3
extreme tier 3 = ninja tier 4 or tier 5

This is less convoluted, and since the community won't get ninja for customs in Evolution, it makes the most sense both logically and practically.

Extreme tier 1 = ill have a look but it best be good fun
Extreme tier 2 = ill have a look if I know the map maker well

That's actually why everyone will actually be calling them hardcore actually.

People actually getting Hardcore and Extreme mixed up would actually be no different from actually mixing up hard and extreme. Actually.

If Kyoshi is right, then this is what I think will happen.

Hardcore will not actually be a 'new' difficulty. Rather, they'll be moving the names to the left: in other words, hardcore will be extreme, extreme will be hard, hard will be medium, medium will be easy, easy will be beginner, and a new super-easy difficulty will be called beginner.

I always felt that the hards for Big Thrills were drastically easier than the original hards.
