I was playing the Ultimate Endurance, 1st place has eluded me for so long I wanted to see how hard it would actually be for me to take it (Ender's time is 8:38.XXX).
Playing every track 'safely' and going 2 seconds over on every track (which is A LOT), I usually hover around .500 above my time I noticed that I should be able to take the tournament pretty easily, assuming I can hit the Underground shortcut.
Thing is, just playing the single track, Underground, I can hit the shortcut anywhere from 8-9 times out of 10. But for some reason in the tournament, doing the exact same thing, I've only hit it 5 times. All 5 were months ago when I wasn't nearly as consistent a rider as I am now...
Anyways, here's the end result of my run going 3-4 seconds over my times on the majority of the tracks and spending an extra 10 seconds on Underground faulting twice.
Now remember, that's going fairly slowly... Probably another 15-20 seconds or that could be shaved off if I went balls to the wall risking a fault anywhere. I don't think I could do that unless I successfully took the tournament.
Anyways, just thought I'd share this with everyone.
So go take 1st haha
Challenge completed.
