If this is true, then I think we're looking at a true contender to Little Big Planet.
Nah! That thought just sounds crazy! From IGN Trials Evo feature- "...we've already seen Trials-themed versions of Pac-Man and Breakout made using the tools, while one of the skill games is decidedly Super Monkey Ball-esque."![]()

Also, QC, remember when you mentioned that you would like to see free roaming in the game? From the sound of this you could just add some turning controls to the bike![]()

I must have missed this because I thought all we knew for sure was that there was a UFO skill game.
That the player controls the UFO is obvious but we also had flugtag so whle I think it would be brilliant if it wasn't limited to bike and rider I'm not sure we've had confirmation yet, though ANBA's wink could be taken that it might indeed be so.
We've also had some very creditable efforts already in TrialsHD at pinball and other ways of expanding the game out but they have all been hampered by having the bike as controller.
I could see a breakout style game being made with the bike if there is a contraption that fits above the bike to hold or deflect balls and I seem to remember such a contraption exists for a skillgame.
But Pacman and supermonkeyball would indeed seem to necessitate a shift of both control and even perspective with monkeyball.
If the rider gets off the bike and starts running and jumping and collecting things then that will truly be big planet territory but that is probably a step too far right now and the ability to control objects other than the bike would be a massive enough step to keep the more experimental trackmakers happy for years.
Only RedLynx know all and they may be keeping some very big secrets to themselves still.![]()
There WAS a picture of the Monkey Ball level in the editor view. Can't find it right now though.
See? Try recreating that!Originally Posted by xIronWarlordx![]()
