Why can't girl be used to mean guy the same way that guy can be used to mean girl?

Because "guy" is the one being used (as in exploited, not accustomed to).
I don't understand the question! Is it in really bad english or am I just stupid?
As in the way someone can say "hey guys!" to a group of girls...
But..
You can't say "hey girls!" to a bunch of guys... well unless they are gay, I know that sometimes is the case.
So I guess therefore they both ARE interchangeable, depending on the circumstances.
BOOM
Now I got it!Originally Posted by Nytmair
