Nay, The basic line riding is what makes this game so freaking addictive, so simple yet so awesome i think free roaming would ruing the ''Trials Feeling"

It would be in addition to, not instead of the line-driving. I think it would be a good experiment. We should try to keep this poll going to get a really good assessment of how the community feels about it so that maybe RL will at least consider making it DLC, separate from extra tracks. That way, if you don't want it, you don't have to pay for it

I get what you mean but i just don't think it will work for trials, trials is an ''unique'' game as it is, i think free roam just wouldn't fit to this game

Also it could be done rather easily by rotating only the camera angle just like the game already seems to do for curved lines: the rider would always be locked on the driving line but you could rotate the very line while driving in real-time with the right analog stick, I am not talking about making the rider actually turn for real which would require TONS of work and basically re-tweaking the whole physics model, NOPE, what I am suggesting is much simpler.

THATactually doesn't sound too bad, but i mean that making it like mx vs atv just isn't like the trials games.

Trials was a real life sport long before it was a game, and it wouldn't change anything to the game we know and love but those who wish to explore the huge map could do it as an EXTRA option.

Yeah maybe you are right, it may not be possible, however, the curving lines makes me think it very well could be, and IF it's as easy as mapping a camera angle rotation to the right analog stick my answer would be why not, but then again it's probably not as easy as I make it out to be but still hoping.
