    New Xbox

I'm buying a new Xbox and was wondering if all of my things from my old one, including my gamertag and my Xbox Live gold membership, will transfer onto the new one with the transfer cable? I mainly want to know if I'll still have Live. I'm buying one because my Trials keeps either freezing or the screen just turns black and does nothing. And this would not go over well when Trials Evolution comes out. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Re: New Xbox

You could try deleting trials and re-downloading it. That sometimes helps. If it doesnt then i guess the new xbox will have to do.

But the transfer cable should transfer everything perfectly fine. I used it when i moved from a 20gb hard drive to a 60gb hard drive and everything transferred fine.

    So you should be ok

Yes that would work you can also do it trough the actual xbox site http://www.xbox.com, you can put all of your stuff from your old to your new device 3 times a year i thought.

    Re: New Xbox

When you use the transfer cable everything on your HDD is copied to your new HDD. It should look and feel exactly like the old one did. Automatic sign-in, Dashboard backgrounds, XBL membership, and Music/Downloads should all be exactly where and how they are on your current Xbox.

You may need to press the guide button, go to settings, Profile, and then transfer your licenses directly to the new console.

Other than that there should be NO problems whatsoever.
