I'd love to read a technical post mortem. The massive view distance is one of the new features that has really wowed me.Originally Posted by sebbbi

From my experience not many game creation and development companies interact with and get involved with their loyal following of fans like you guys do. I absolutely can't wait to play Trials Evo. I grew up riding trials bikes, I had my first one when I was 5 years old. My dad had a motorbike shop, he sold trials bikes. My favourite game was Kickstart 2 on the C64. Now I'm 38 and when I play Trials HD or think about Trials Evo I feel like I did when I was 5 years old and my dad brought me home a motorbike. You guys are superstars!![]()
I would hate to see Trials Evolution get "lost" in the Holiday game rush. I would almost rather that it came out in February '12 than November/December '11.
The more visibility, the better.

this game is gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!
yep every year someone calls it the 'best year ever for 360!' but a lot of the big boys are out to play this year;Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

im just back from gamescom, here is what i think that needs to improved:
- bike physics are now a bit more realistic but also more sluggish. im not a bad player in trials hd (worldrank ca. 1200) but i really got problems at the with the extreme track because of the new bike physics. and i think it will be nearly impossible for casual players. please dont make it too much realistic. after 10 trys i got gold^^
- i pressed (Y) and it takes 2 seconds until the rider jumpes off the bike. is that normal in trials evo??
- there are some camera problems (especially in the extreme track, nearly at the end) please fix this.
- in the first technicparcours there was wrong german translation of mode description (in flames)
- resolution looked like 360p but seems to be just wrong configuration of this console there.
- and the console freezed 2 times![]()
but the game was awesome anyway and you guys did an excellent job so far!!! i trust redlynx, they know what they doing![]()
You'll just have to get used to the physics, as you would with any game you play. Before you know it you'll be back ripping through extreme tracks!
Give it chance and you won't be able to go back to Trials HD because you'll be so used to Evo physics.![]()
Yeah, I agree. Yesterday, when I switched from playing Trials to Toy Soldiers, there was an extremely noticeable difference in framerate. Even just watching some of the off-screen videos from Evo, it looks like one of the smoothest running games I've ever seen, especially for a console title.Originally Posted by GOLEM100
The bailout charges (becomes stronger the longer you hold the Y button). The rider jumps off when you let go of the Y button (or when the charge is full). There's no UI yet showing the charge meter, so it's a bit hard to understand. I am not sure if we are going to keep that feature in the game. We were testing that for some skill games.Originally Posted by Core2TOM
Yes, we know about the bad "user camera" in the end of Out of the Pit. Me and Jorma have been constantly nagging about itOriginally Posted by Core2TOM. It will be surely fixed before the release.
hhmmm i dont really like the idea of that bailout charge meter thing. maybe usefull in some skill games, but not in races. (or do you maybe need this to get secrets & squirrels?)Originally Posted by sebbbi
