I disagree with them paying though, it's my way of thanking them for 2 years worth of gaming enjoyment and fan dedication.

Besides, they might not really want it. That would suck, and hurt my feelings a bit, but it's a real possibility.

Edit! - I am trying to figure out how to make a form fitted foam holder inside of a wooden case with a plexiglas top. I haven't had a chance to do the battery holder (not play and charge battery), but I think ANBA would enjoy it when it's done.

Apparently my head does not stay attached without morning coffee. I saw it as one hell of a tribution and completely disregarded that it was their birthday. But yes by all means, lets chip in. I want to see them make a video when they open that package!

Oh. I forgot to mention that I scuffed up/dulled the shine on all of the buttons. I was going to use 9mm shell casings grinded down (Alien Phobia!) epoxied to the bottom half of the regular buttons, the casing fits good, maybe a 10mm would be better. But I decided against it because Trials HD doesn't feature guns and isn't really a violent game.

I also sanded the guide button to look like that swirly finished metal brushing thing totally don't know what it's called).

Seriously, this isn't a real gaming controller now, it's (pretentiously) a work of art. Playing with the controller for any real amount of time would damage the paint. The controller has had a lot of plastic sanded off so that the edges/seams are as smooth as I could get them. I have been treating it like it is made of glass.

You're crazy to think they wouldn't be happy for that controller! Even if they didn't like the aesthetics of it (which I seriously doubt they don't) they'd still appreciate the effort and dedication.

@antng - Thank you. I hope they enjoy it too.

@Jarr3tt88 - It wasn't even my idea. Scrub thought it up. I don't know how to setup donations or anything, but I'll make up a card and (even those who can't donate, trust me I know how tight money can be now) everyone can e-sign it if they send me a PM with their message to RL.

Maybe one of you PayPal gurus can PM me how to do it.
