    Diet/Exercise Motivation?

If you are someone who has kept up on eating healthy and exercising regularly to lose or maintain weight, how do YOU stay motivated?

I was doing really good with my diet and jogging about two months ago, I lost almost 15 lbs, but I pulled a muscle pretty bad in my leg and had to chill. Now my weight is back and I am eating like **** and being lazy.

I want to start my diet right here, right now, and start jogging or doing some exercise soon... But I need to know how to stay motivated...??

Buy a mountain bike and ride some trails!

My best advise would be to make your whole like a kinda daily routine. Make the bed in the morning, do the dishes at night, eat around the same time everyday... make these things a habit. Bring order into your daily life and include exercise in your daily activities.

i eat like complete ****, and im pretty unactive sitting around not doing a whole lot, but i am in great shape weight wise, one time i thot ide try and get some good muscles but then i thought just excerising wouldnt help and ide have to eat a lot healthier, so i just said screw it.

Diet motivation: ide say just keep your self from buying bad stuff, as long as you dont buy it, you cant eat it.
excercise: just have like a daily goal, like run 5 miles, or do something like 200 push ups/sit ups.

i keep in very good shape and a lot of it comes down to only making changes that suit you, otherwise youll probably drop them.
heres some stuff that might help:

    - at least 8hrs sleep a night does your body real good.

    - drinking a lot of water and staying hydrated is great to stay healthy.

    - think of as many different types of healthy foods that you ENJOY eating and fit em into your regular meals.

    - find an activity you ENJOY that burns calories and even if you only have time for a little, do it regularly.
(biking - i live by some big hills and i struggle to the top in a gear as high as i can manage, get to the top completely exhausted and zoom back down, great exercise and fun as hell)

    - if you can manage a fair amount of sit-ups a day and keep up with it your stomach will feel the benefit after a while.
(i do sit-ups like a trooper but a while back i was always in pain when bending over because i was overdoing it)

dont pick someone elses plan and try to fit yourself to it, make your own that already fits with you or it wont work.

    good luck man

No mountain bike trails around me sadly... I do want a road bike though, just can't afford it at the moment.
Also, regarding routine, I am pretty good with my meals.. I have small meals around 8, 11, 1, 4, 7... give or take.
I just now need to figure out how to fit in exercise...

That used to be me... Then I turned 21 and discovered alcohol, started eating worse, went from being a valet to a desk job...

In theory. I got one for my family and even my kids are like "I just wanna play lego batman!" Now all my kinect does is annoy me when I try and watch netflix, telling me to wave for kinect functions.

    Re: Diet/Exercise Motivation?

For me the only thing that keeps me motivated over a long time is someone who exercises with you! When I´m not in the right mood or lazy or something a friend of mine always pushes me to get out and do something and if he´s in such mood then I´ll be the one pushing him. Until now it hasn´t come the day that we both didn´t want to do sports.

About the diet thing... That will never ever work for me. I´ll try to compensate my unhealthy food through sports
