    Re: Trackname easter eggs

I think the Groundhog series has more to do with the batman series.

    Batman Begins

    Batman Returns

    Batman Forever

    I could be wrong tho.

Thanks jhitman, ill add them to the OP. Its striking how many movie (director?) references can be found in the tracknames.

    Re: Trackname easter eggs

Trackname easter eggs found in rock'n'drop and Workshop of secrets have been added to the end of the list in OP. I found there is a way to spot the trackname easter eggs. They are marked by the wrong use of capital letters. After platinum in rock'n'drop youll read: 'Hail to the King, baby! Nice driving.' The capital K in King suggests the presence of a hidden message. I double checked and this applies to some other trackname easter eggs aswel!

I also found that some trackdescriptions are achievements in other popular games. 'Great shot, kid! That was one in a million!' appears as an achievement in Brink for example and 'Hail to the King, baby!' is an achievement in World of Warcraft.

Edit: added to list Agent STG-1001!, new layout, and an Alien reference!

Some of them have more or less been confirmed by Anba, they are in the science category: leedskalnin, tesla and the LHC. We also know they arent all relevant, just some. I think Anba mentioned something like: "maybe not all easter eggs are to be found inside the tracks". I suspect the movies could somehow be evolved aswell since the storyline seams to fit the riddle (technological evolution, lost articfacts, mystical plots,...). Also remember the boxes pointed us towards Stanley Kubrick and JJ Abrams both of them are directors... Stanley Kubrick fits into the technological evolution theme with his movie '2001 a space odessey'. JJ A's movies have a mystical plot. I really feal the movies are important as suggested in the easter eggs tread

Added to the OP: link between Dangerous Ride and the story 'the machine stops', wich i believe to be correct. I will be trying to get this tread as complete as possible, Im still in doubt about a couple of them.

    btw; Happy newyear!!!!

edit: added an interesting story about the origins of the orbital ion cannon. track: unfair bombardment, category scifi
