Trials HD used a points system, but wouldn't it be better if Evo used time instead? good examples of this would be FROM DUST, or Super Meat Boy. I prefer these kinds of leaderboards because it gives people clear indications how much someone is ahead of them.

The problem would be faults, how would they work?

I think the points system should remain intact, but with additional AND separate leaderboards as well as cumulative for global score just like the plus/minus dlc leaderboard. But im not sure how multiplayer would work tho. I hope the next system is more complex so people dont manipulate their ranks and stuff. We all know how important a feature the clean leaderboard is to a game (with the exception of Ajuvix).

Skill games should have less affect than tracks and tourneys should have the most.

Eh i can see why my post may have been taken a little out of context. I meant no disrespect to Ajuvix himself, i was merely implying the fact that accidental glitches do happen, although rarely does it have the impact that he had when he took over first with a lead of 1mil points. I was not singling him out nor speaking on his behalf of what he thinks about leaderboards on trials.
