To be honest: If there is a fee, i wouldn´t participate, cause that would be the same as throwing my money out of the window! There are about 10 players (when all compete), who will have a chance to succeed, all others do it just for fun and will never have the chance to gofor the top spots!

But i would really love to see a new season coming up!

Asking people to pay to play is always a double edged sword. On one hand, as mentioned, many people wouldn't enter at all. They would "know" that they wouldn't win and not want to waste their money.

On the other hand, it allows for better prizes. Scrub might get pissy with me, but that dude has dug into his own pockets for medals for multiple contests, buying domains, purchasing web templates, and then editing them into TrialsHD.net and TrialsLegends.net. He maintains the sites and adds new features while he has a job and family to take care off.

There is NO advertising on his websites and he doesn't ask for any donations at all. If you offered him money he would probably get angry (but please, offer him money!). He busts his *** trying to surpass expectations, and he has been offering free custom track leaderboards since September of 2009.

It's not like he would take any of the money as a fee. He is a dude who really loves Trials, and does what he can for the community.

I would pay to enter even though I don't have a good way to post proof.

i would definitely pay a fee to join this contest. if the winner gets the fee money then why not enter if its something like
$5 - $10 (£2.50 - £5) < -- Something like that

LOL I don't want any money, this was just an idea I was throwing around so people don't flake out when there is money on the line. But I personally rather have a fun run of the mill season.

I didn't get involved in track design or these tourneys previously & now (better late than never) would like to at least take part I mean winnings out of the question but its the name of why were here the competition surely?

Selection from Easy Medium Hard etc would be ok but why not as the final Season for Trials HD do something like the guys have said, give some of us new designers a run with our tracks, myself, flyer, lost technique etc =3 TRACKS & the Top 3 TRACKS of all time as voted by say the TOP 3 RIDERS of all time. A mix of new riders/designers & old school designers/riders

@GameScrub - I'll chuck £30 into the kitty via PayPal if it help sway things this direction as I think this covers all bases

Intro - New Designers & Riders
Homage - Best Track Designers Murdoch, Warlord, Heet, Snipen etc -
Not Too Long - Six Tracks & easier friend rotation & focus over the weeks leading into Evo

Just an idea so let me know what you think but seems a shame to not have something now as a close to HD dont we think?

Sounds good, its a yes from me.

I missed all the previous Tourneys so it would be great to be a part of season 3 before Evolution is released.

12 Tracks does sound like a lot, especially if it were 1 track each week. It's also a lot of effort to add 12 different people. Perhaps if you used 2 tracks from 6 creators with 2 tracks running each week. Then people don't get bored of played the same track everyday. But I don't know if that would work.

Either way, I would gladly participate regardless of the tracks and prizes.

also 12 tracks - 12 weeks is way too much evo will probly come out half way in to the competition. i think 6 weeks would be plenty i also think the sooner we start the better
